Have you decided to make your own wedding cake?
Then you may also want to make your own edible wedding cake decorations.
Edible wedding cake decorations are cool because they are fun to make, as well as, fun to eat!
Here’s how you can make 3 different kinds of wedding cake decorations that you and your guests can eat:
- Take a piece of marzipan, or almond paste for those who don’t know what this treat is, and work it into a ball. Next using your fingers shape the ball into a heart.
- Use a rolling pin to roll out a piece of fondant until it is 1/4 inch thick. Then take a flower cutter and use it to cut out a flower from the fondant. Finally, using a balling tool add some shape to the flower and then put a small ball of icing in the center to complete it. For those who don’t know, fondant is a thick, creamy paste that is made from sugar.
- Place fondant into candy molds to make different beautiful shapes. Allow the fondant to harden for 1 hour before removing it from your mold.
